Modern Golden Hour Styled Elopement

Megan from Passionate, Wild, and Free Photography held the most gorgeous styled wedding shoot here at Iris Aisle this April. We love Megan’s unique focus on the beautiful ceramic artwork of Anna Gilbreath from Anna Grace Creates, and how it pairs so perfectly with the soft bunches of baby’s breath arranged in curved vases between white taper candles, and the model’s incredible, sculptural two-piece gown. This contemporary and minimalist elopement setup with a sweetheart table looks amazing against the backdrop of the Conservatory during golden hour – the long shadows and golden light peeking in through the glass greenhouse create the most romantic feel.

I have been a photographer for most of my life, and have always admired the beauty this world has to offer. I love to travel, and have found a passion in photographing places outside the midwest. So living in Iowa can make it hard to stay creative. But I can truly say I have found the most beautiful place Iowa has to offer. This little Victorian Conservatory brought my creativity to life, and I will never stop recommending this venue to others. I cannot thank Raelyn and Earl enough for all their attention in making my experience amazing. The Iris Aisle truly is a sanctuary built for love.
