Iris Aisle’s COVID-19 Guidelines

We are living in uncertain times, and we understand that our couples are nervous about their big days, so we want to address a few things so that you know what to expect.

In Iowa, weddings are still considered essential activities. We are still open and available for weddings as long as all current CDC guidelines are followed. We also request all of our guests wear masks while in the conservatory area and when within 6 feet of anyone not in their family to help cut down the potential spread.

Our main priority is keeping you all as safe and happy as we can. We understand that this is a super scary time, and we are trying to be as accommodating as possible to make sure that you get the wedding you had hoped for. To do this, we are offering the option for any couples having weddings affected by COVID-19 to reschedule to any of our available non-peak dates ( December-March) or any day but Saturday for our peak dates (August-November and April-June). If you have people that are at risk that you want to attend or you are restricted from traveling, we think this is a great option for you.

We have put a lot of time and effort into preparing for your wedding, turning people away from your date, and adding new options on property for you to enjoy. Because of this, if you choose to cancel, your non-refundable retainer will not be returned. If you purchased wedding insurance as we recommend, then they may cover all of the costs associated with cancellation depending on the coverage you purchased. If not, we would love to work with you on rescheduling. Being a small business, we would unfortunately no longer be able to be here for future weddings if we had to refund everyone affected so it is important for us to stick to our contracts.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that all of this resolves soon, and we are here to answer any questions and address your concerns so don’t hesitate to reach out.
