Most of our guests feel that a mic/speaker setup aren’t needed when doing your ceremony and/or speeches in the Conservatory.

If you choose to hire a DJ for dancing/entertainment, we recommend having dancing outside of the Conservatory so their bulky sound equipment doesn’t take up a lot of your dancing space.

To save money and space, instead of hiring a DJ for your reception, you can create your own Spotify playlist and stream it over our Bose sound system in the Conservatory. We have a great wedding playlist to get you started! Check it out here.

Many of our past couples have asked a friend or family member to officiate their ceremonies. If you want a loved one to officiate for you, they can get ordained for free at several different places online!

Our Conservatory is heated in colder months, but we also love a good outdoor event with the farm tables set up under our twinkle lights in the trees. For chillier evenings outdoors, we suggest setting out a big basket of throw blankets for guests, to keep everyone cozy as they sit around the fire.
