Jamie + Leesa
On a Saturday afternoon in October, during the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival weekend to be exact, Leesa arrived with her mother to get ready in the Couple’s Cabin. Relaxed as ever and prepared to celebrate with the love of her life.
Together Leesa and Jamie have 4 kids. Each one popped their heads into cabin to check on Leesa as she got ready. Each all done up with hints of purples and maroons. They were just as excited as everyone else.
Jamie and Leesa shared a first look in the woods where their excitment to see each other had me wanting to squeal behind the camera. The immediate hugs, kisses, laughter and of course some sort of witty comments were made, was so beautiful to watch. Although I have a hard time not wanting to capture it all….I too understand the importance of those intimate moments that SOMETIMES should be cherished between just the couple. So I let them have their moment before they gathered the kids to make their grand enterance.
Here we are. Watching Jamie, hand in hand witth her kids walking down the stone path. Not too far behind, Leesa and her two kids as well. The ceremony turned into quite the emotional and intimate experience where the children were involved every step of the way. No one could prepare you for the heartfelt vows they read to each of the kids. The way they all stood together, holding each other as they prepared to commit to a lifelong bond was the most intimate expereince.
Soon it was time for a little clink clink of a toast and a little slice of the cake. Their guests mingled amongst the conservatory as I floated around to capture the laughter. We ended the beautiful evening with couple’s photos of the two of them and they ended their night with an overnight stay inside the Couple’s Cabin.
