Bridgette + Nicholas
Bridgette and Nick eloped on an October eve that was a bit warmer than expected but ultimately turned into the most beautiful evening.
I know I say over and over how much I love the couples that get married here but I truly enjoyed being around these two and their family. Some of the sweetest , loving, kindest people we’ve met.
We started the evening inside the Couple’s Cabin where Bridgette, her mother, sister and close girlfriends helped get her ready to walk down the aisle. The shorter style dress complete with a veil and a bow was both adorable and beautiful on Bridgette. I love it when my couple’s bring little trinkets from home to make their day feel more like them. Bridgette brought along a photo of her and Nick to place on the nightstand where she touched up her makeup. The excitement was becoming real and you could feel it in the air.
Bridgette had her dad walk down the aisle with her; past the pumpkins and the brightly colored fall mums. The scene was breathtaking as I am most certainly positive Nicholas felt the same as he watched Bridgette enter the double doors of the conservatory.
They read their own heartfelt vows which of course led to an audience full of tears. A sweet and simple ceremony officiated by Nick’s brother in law.
Afterwards, we enjoyed apple cider donuts, apple cider and a stunning charcuterie board. The cake the bride and groom shared was a stunning ( and delicious looking) pumpkin cake. All right on point with the fall theme.
We ended their time here by wandering the woods and chasing the golden sunlight as I photographed them absolutely in love with each other. The dark sky crept over us but we were greeted with the whimsical feel of the fairy lights strung around. You could feel the love in every part of their guests energy. A feeling no body wanted to leave.
If you are looking for an intimate wedding day that truly feels whimsical AND intimate, then Iris Aisle is the place for you.
